From Isla & Trevor: Trevor and I would like to send our condolences to the family especially to Ealey who as you know is our treasured cousin. We have met Gerry on quite a few occasions in Australia, Scotland and Wales. We remember such good times of laughter, discussions and friendship. Gerry was a remarkable man who chose his family above all else. He was quiet but intelligent and could turn his hand to any topic of conversation. He was not only a relative but a good friend. His sense of humour was appreciated, and we feel privileged to have spent such cheerful times with him. It seems such a short time ago that we caught up with him and Ealey in Abergavenny and connected once again in Wales. Fond memories, fond times and a fondness never to be replaced. Rest In Peace Gerry. We will miss you on our next visit. Lots of love from Trevor and Isla Eichmann PS. We are in the outback of Australia whilst writing this near Quilpie in Queensland. One of the photos Isla has posted in Pictures, is a photo of the 3 of us, Gerry, Isla and Ealey, taken in Tafarn y Bont, Govilon in 2016.
